Food Fun: Kitchen Chemistry Adventures Play with your food in the name of science. Campers explore edible and non-edible experiments that use ingredients from the kitchen to teach real chemistry. Kids build gumdrop molecules, experiment with solids and liquids using creative cookie labs, and test how heat and cold change food textures. They mix “eye-scream” cupcakes, learn Oreo moon phases, construct marshmallow towers, and create colorful potato stamps. Some projects are delicious and some are purely scientific, but all of them bring out curiosity, creativity, and giggles. Nut-free and gluten-free options are available for most labs; please list all allergies at registration.

Summer Camp Refund and Cancellation Policies Special Registrations: Camps purchased with any promotional codes, including Early Registration promotions, are fully non-refundable. However, you may reschedule by April 30, 2026, less a $25 per camper administrative fee, subject to availability. All camp changes will be priced at the current rates. One change per camper, no transfers. Regular Registrations: Cancellations and changes are due by April 30, 2026. $100/session is always non-refundable. $25 per camper administrative fee for each change, changes are subject to availability. All camp changes will be priced at the current rates. One change per camper, no transfers. May 1 and after: No changes or cancellations. No exceptions. As a small business, we are unable to issue cash/credit card refunds; refunds are always given in the form of SOF credit toward future purchases. Absences: If your camper misses part or all of their camp, we do not offer makeup days/credit/refund/exchange for unused camp or extended care for any reason including camper illness or dismissal. No transfers.
